„Healing Beyond Hurt:
My Trauma, My Power“
"I bear no responsibility for the trauma I've experienced, yet I am accountable for my journey towards healing."
This is what you will be experiencing within this blog, where I will be focusing on 3 major events from my life:
The complex relationship between trauma bonding, the harmful impact of emotional abuse, and the ongoing stress of being in fight-or-flight mode for too long. This isn't just about my own experience—it's relevant to everyone. Because in reality, you're the one who can lead yourself towards healing. I want to share my journey of healing and the challenges I overcame along the way as well as what impact the generational trauma has on your life decisions and love life.
I'll also be discussing different types of attachment styles in relationships, like anxious, avoidant, anxious-avoidant, and secure attachment. I'll talk about how these styles interact based on personal experiences. Additionally, I'll touch on the importance of setting boundaries and standards for yourself, especially when it comes to receiving only the minimum effort in relationships.
Lastly on the relationships train, I will be talking about feeling safe and secure in a relationship, experiencing a healthy relationship for the first time after many toxic ones, dealing with commitment issues, and the positive impact a secure relationship can have on someone with PTSD
I'll also discuss how the choices I made in my past relationships shaped who I am today as a woman, and how I consistently drew in what I believed I deserved based on my self-perception.
